A couple weeks ago I traveled back to my hometown and was able to see my best friend from college. All of her family and friends gathered together and showered her with lots of love and gifts. Not only did we get to celebrate the new addition but I was able to sneak in a quick maternity session of her adorable baby bump and sweet family.

The location we used was so beautiful but I’m going to be honest, I feared for my life in that 3 foot tall grass we were walking in. Luckily Spud was there to “call away” the snakes. Whitney reminded me how I have become a city girl since moving here but I’m pretty sure I have always been terrified of snakes. 😉

We finished the session without any snake encounters and we only saw one spider. Yikes! Thanks, Olivia and Claire, for spotting it! 😀
