Merilyn and Moses were my last couple to get married in 2018. They tied the knot on December 23rd at Morgan Creek Barn in Aubrey, TX. This was my first time at this venue and it was so beautiful! Merilyn designed the entire wedding, set everything up, and even created her own invitations (which were so beautiful)! She is a rockstar designer.
I met this sweet couple back in August and I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to work with them. Their genuine smiles and love for God shined at our initial consultation. As they were describing their wedding day to me I knew it was going to be very special.
During their ceremony, the majority of it was spoken in Spanish. Unfortunately, I do not know Spanish (hope to learn one day)! I pretty much had no idea what they were saying but you know what is so special about that? I didn’t have to know a word that they were saying to see the love these two share with each other. The tears trickling down Merilyn’s face while Moses said his vows, Moses’ ear to ear smile while Merilyn said hers, and the pure joy coming from their family and friends said it all. They promised to always love one another and keep God first in their lives.
During the end prayer I looked around at their family and friends and saw happy tears, hands raised to God, and abundant love. It’s hard to explain how intimate that moment was but I am so honored I was there to capture those memories for them. Although I didn’t understand much of what was being said, I can confidently say that Merilyn and Moses are a perfect match.
Merilyn and Moses, thank you so much for asking me to capture your most special day! I am so honored that you chose me and I loved working with you both! God is going to do amazing things in your marriage and I can’t wait to see. <3
