Christina and Brian are married! They had such a beautiful wedding at the gorgeous Chapel Ana Villa in The Colony, TX. Their day started off sunny and beautiful but shortly after we finished photos a storm rolled through and cooled everything off! I don’t normally wish for a rain on a wedding day but it was definitely nice on that super hot day. We had already finished photos too so win win!! Rain on your wedding day is good luck anyway. 😉

Christina lost her mom at a young age and her mother left behind a pearl necklace that she wanted Christina to wear on her wedding day. I love sweet sentiments that mean so much to the couple and I always love photographing them any chance I can get so they will have those memories forever. As we were doing Christina and Brian’s first look a butterfly flew around them. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but later Christina told me that butterflies remind her of her mother and that every time she sees one she feels as if she is there with her. Talk about tears!! As she was explaining that to me I couldn’t help but cry. We saw more as the day progressed and I could tell it made Christina so happy knowing that her mom was thinking about her on her special day.

After the ceremony we headed over to the reception hall where the newlyweds and all of their guests had an amazing night dancing, eating, and enjoying a few drinks. There was also a photo booth! So fun! They ended their night with a bubble send off while all of their family and friends waved goodbye to them as they headed off to their honeymoon.
