When I sit down with my couples for the first time at their consultation it usually involves coffee, wedding albums, and lots of talking about their big day. I can spot a #crpcouple almost immediately. My couples are different than normal brides and grooms. They are kind, fun, understanding, and stunningly beautiful! When I sat down with Amy and Jordan I knew right away that they were one of my couples.

At their engagement session they brought their puppies and I had so much fun with them. They were so fun and I knew their wedding would be just as great! The week of their wedding my husband and I got the call that Pat’s grandmother and grandfather had passed away and that the funeral would be that week. I had so many thoughts racing though my head at this point. I knew I needed to be there to support my husband during this difficult time but I also didn’t want to disappoint my sweet bride, Amy. I remember calling her in tears explaining what happened and then crying even more because she was so understanding. I’m not sure how I got so lucky with these two but God knew the exact couple that I needed that weekend and I am so grateful he sent me Amy and Jordan.

With me being gone for the funeral I sent my two trusty sidekicks to photograph their wedding for me and they did an amazing job! When I picked up the SD cards I immediately went through them and was so grateful that they were able to fill in for me. As soon as I started looking through the images I saw how how gorgeous their day was. From getting ready, to their first kiss, to the grand exit with the vintage car I was blown away by all of the beauty! Their day was so perfect and I was so sad I wasn’t able to be there with them in person but I was definitely there in spirit. As I began editing the photos I was overcome with joy for these two. Their kindness and joy radiate in all of the photos and I am so incredibly happy for them on their new journey as Mr. & Mrs. Ward.

Amy and Jordan, thank you SO much for being so amazing and understanding during such a difficult time. You both are the epitome of a perfect bride and groom and I am so blessed you chose me as your photographer. I am so happy for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness!
